Renewable Energy
The contribution to the development of renewable energy - particularly
energy coming from wind, water, solar power and biomass - is one
of the central aims of Consorzio FIA's activity. It is thus oriented
to:
Contribute to the sustainable development of the energy sector by
utilizing renewable resources and environmentally friendly technologies
that reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
Pioneer the market for project-based GHGs emission reductions within
the Kyoto Protocol framework, achieve substantial efficiency enhancement
in energy production processes and offer distinctive value added
products to the market by focusing only on the most effective technologies
and raw materials.
Develop innovative technological solutions, cooperating with knowledge
centres, universities, etc. Consorzio FIA is firmly convinced that
private industrial entities should combine their efforts with academic
and public institutions in order to accelerate the discovery of
innovative solutions to mitigate global warming.
Create value for our shareholders while maintaining an ethic and
socially responsible approach to business. The most successful companies
have clearly shown that acting ethically has positive effects on
business returns as well. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
issues are now considered to be of crucial importance by companies
and complying with them gives very positive returns in terms of
marketing, employees' satisfaction and reduction of legal actions
as well.
Promote the professional and personal development of our and partners
employees by providing continuous training and creating a stimulating
team-work environment. This is a key action for keeping the employees
motivated and empowered. In addition, knowledge sharing and ongoing
advanced updating activities are key factors for remaining always
